I have to agree with jibjab910, a tiny bit.
Mr. Weebls song is very, really, ginormously... stuck in my head. Which is a compliment.
The lyrics on the other hand... You've done way better. Rhyming, for example. The lyrics in the 'own ward' part were dissapointing IMO.
On the other hand, Scampi only had two words rhyming and that animation never left my memory. Then again, I loved the Trevor animations too.
So the song is great, but only the bagel line made me laugh; mainly because of the... shall I say strange humor of Sexual Lobster:
You managed to fit in a surprisingly funny, though disturbing bagel part.
Since you made it, I think it really shouldn't be a surprise anymore though...
That said, the animation was well done, but again, I've seen better. I miss the shadows on the characters like in your Manwhore songs or Captain Planet animations.
Overall I guess it's hard to get better at what you do when you're already one of the best. I think Babies is one of the 'lesser funny' animations, but you two do make a great team.
I shall rate this a 9. Though I didn't enjoy it as much as you guys' other work, the people of Newgrounds think an average score of 9.6 is in place. I don't rate an instant 10 with "Great!" as constructive criticism. But I also don't rate low just because I didn't laugh (hard), because lots of people clearly did.
Now you boys go to your room and think about why you didn't get that 10! (from me ._.)
No srs, you guys are great.
you do love comments?
then here's another one for you :)
I like the idea, everything is simply colored in the beginning of the song. But when the beat comes in you bring in the fish and what not.
I think it's a good animation! but... didn't you submit this earlier? I know I've seen this before. And it would be great if you'd finish the ending.
thanks n ill prolly finish it and i might resubmit it once school starts that way i can finish it as a project :p
thanks 4 the comment
Way 2 go!
This has to be the best idea for a collab!
Nice variation in style.
Some endings could've been better though.
I mean, why wouldn't they beat up Nene to get the candy?
Still, nice work! ;)
Beside the fact that I love zombies...
This game is a real masterpiece, it's no cheap top-down racing game, it has epic music, epic graphics, epic voice acting and made me epic nervous because of... well everything. Listening to the radio really pictures the desperation the military get into.
Hearing that scream of the mutated zombie while driving to a group of burning cars AND seeing a jet fly by almost made me crap my pants O_o No really, it's kinda scary...
The checkpoints placement is obviously done by someone who knows what he's doing. It's really hard, but very doable. I died several times before reaching a checkpoint just to score points. The upgrades don't make you overpowered eventually, what keeps the challenge, what's also a good point.
Overall, the atmosphere created by this game is -for me- comparable to Left4Dead, which is an honest compliment! :O Because achieving that is kinda tough in such a small window and... wel, a driving game.
Still, completing the game made me feel like one of the guys in Egoraptor's 'Awesome Reach'. Except I'm not snorting anything or getting a hard-on. (But I haven't played another game mode yet so everything's possible! Except the hard-on part, really.)
You guys are Pro's!
You CAN be too greedy, which I think is a bug.
If you light one torch, grab the item and leave the screen, you can come back and get the other, which is why I couldn't get 'Here Doggy!' I guess.
But I still give a 10 because the idea, atmosphere, art and music deserves a score at least over 9000.
Great new short. It was pretty easy though.
The quality keeps getting better with the Reincarnation series. The demon looks way more evil and I think I finally hear a better mic is used :P
Still, the characterizing style remains.
But I found another bug: when you close the radio window while the cigarette lighter is not yet lit (but is about to) it dissapears, which causes a very long car ride, without even a bit of EVIL! :(
(Also, in the back of the van you drive backwards lol)
You uploaded it! =D
Great one, best of Glass Fish Rhythm. I love chiptune and 8 bit music.
Now for a full version...
I only comment because I would die otherwise =(
It's not really my style but I like it ;)
Though I can hear it's an experiment ^^
It's sounds epic, but not too serious or desperate =D
As to what scenario it belongs to in my opinion: I think this song fits best in the scene from House of 1000 Cats. So it's not a military base per se, but certainly something highly secured.
you know what, I think I'll give this a shot as Tank music in Left4Dead! ;)
That may be the creepy atmosphere you're talking about ^^
hehe I dont think it has enough constant awesome like the "metal l4d soundpack" does... it needs more of an upbeat chase for that...
